What is FOWL?

We work to support Wingecarribee Public libraries and to promote its services to the community. 

What do we do?

We host regular author talks and occasional workshops.

FOWL aims and objectives

  • To serve as a link between Wingecarribee Public Library and the local community;
  • To foster an interest in books, reading and writing;
  • To advocate to the local council, groups and individuals on behalf of the Wingecarribee Public Libraries; 
  • To sponsor special community events and literary activities for both children and adults;
  • To provide support for the libraries through practical assistance and fundraising;
  • To foster links with organisations with similar interests and objectives.


How do I become a friend?

Annual membership opens on 1 December each year and is $10 per year.
