Use of the Wingecarribee Public Library’s computer and wireless network is subject to the following terms and conditions:

While there is some content filtering on the connections, it remains the responsibility of parents to supervise their children’s use of library resources including online and web based resources.

It is the responsibility of internet users to respect the rights of other library users and to use the internet in an appropriate manner.

Users are not permitted to look up information of a pornographic, violent or racist nature or to use the internet to undertake illegal or fraudulent activity or to bully or threaten others.

Information on the internet may be protected by Copyright. Users are responsible for complying with all applicable laws governing copyright material.

Security of personal information cannot be guaranteed in an electronic environment so users must be warned that all communications or transactions are vulnerable to unauthorised use.

Neither Wingecarribee Shire Council nor its staff assumes, under any circumstances, responsibility for any infection/damage/loss to personal information, data or equipment while using the Library’s internet and wireless service.

Users who do not comply with Wingecarribee Public Library’s Internet Use Policy may have their session terminated or be denied future access to this service.
